Capstone Project
Hey all, this is just something quick I set up to keep us all up to date
on the capstone project. I did this in Frontpage so that anyone can update
it if I m not available. Look around, try out the discussion boards, and let
me know what you think. If anyone has any content that they want to have
posted here, send me over an
email containing the info you want to have posted and a description of
where in the site you think it should be.
Anyone who wants an explanation on the Frontpage thing, then you should click
here to hear what I have to say!!!
Anyone who has documents that they would like to have accessible from the
web, please make sure to pass them on to me in class. I am working on a
quick and easy file upload for the site as well. Once that is in place, then
all you have to do is upload the file with a brief description of what it is
and where it belongs. The other option is to
email me with the file as an attachment along with some info as to what
it is. This is probably the preferred method since it involves no floppies.
:O)
Enough said....Look for updates every week after class as well as updates
during the week when we have something new to post and share. Hope everyone
enjoys the site and have fun!!!

What's New
- 12-17-02
I added the links section and the accomplishments section. The links
section has been populated with some of our favorite links. If you have
more to add, then click here and
fill out the form. One more thing, I added a page with some cool
conversion scripts I found. Try them out. There are things like binary
conversion, Kb to Mb and vice versa, and keyboard input to ASCII
conversion. You can find them here.

Ed uploaded the Project 2000 files today. He also sent me over a HTML
version of the Project worksheet. You can view the online version
here. You can download the actual Project
file here. These files are
also added to the resources page.

Sean has the Novell and Windows 2000 Server installation done on the base
hard drive. He also has all of the important apps installed on the drive
as well. We hope to finish Linux on Wednesday. If this happens, we should
be able to start ghosting on Friday.

Capstone project web site goes live. I also added a vote poll on the main
discussion site. Please take the time to vote for me.

New rules in place - We cannot bring in our own laptops or towers. I am
not sure if this means not at all or just not hooked up to the school
network. See the dean for details.
